Our client is a major Spanish IT provider for the global travel and tourism industry.
This solution provides search, pricing, booking, ticketing and other processing services in real-time to travel providers and travel agencies through its CRS (computer reservation system) distribution business area. It also offers computer software that automates processes such as reservations, inventory management software and departure control systems. It services customers including airlines, hotels, tour operators, insurers, car rental and railway companies, ferry and cruise lines, travel agencies and individual travelers directly.
Mission
Our Ticketing Team is looking for new member to contribute to the evolution of the Order Suite in the core of the client’s platform.
Within Ticketing, the goal is to work with our customers in an agile way, with an open and responsive mindset, while embracing industry initiatives to create a better travel experience, by developing in a data driven open platform.
• Define user requirements for development of new or improvement of existing software solutions.
• Design technical solutions and perform feasibility studies.
• Propose viable technical solutions to Product Management and/or users for validation.
• Model, design and implement databases as necessary.
• Conduct unit, package and performance tests of the software and ensure a level of quality in line with the client guidelines.
• Participate in the validation / acceptance phase of the product cycle ensuring the fine-tuning necessary to finalize the product.
• Produce software documentation necessary for the application and issue it to the requesting departments.
• Support the end user in the Production phase by debugging existing software solutions in response to Problem Tracking Records (PTR) and Change Requests (CR) issued from Product Management or Product Definition.
